MICHELIN Autocross and Track Events
The MICHELIN autocross will be held over two days. The
course itself will be fast, challenging, and will have transients along the way
to catch the unwary. Designed by active Solo II drivers, first gear will only
used once. Wednesday evening we will meet at PIR for TOYO Drag Races and Cruise-In Night. Once there, we
will file into the prime section, reserved just for us, at the PIR
Wednesday Night Cruise-In. It will certainly be fun rubbing
elbows with all the hot rodders, but there’s even
more. We have our own reserved lane and bracket at the PIR
Wednesday Night Drags. That’s right,
we’re gonna drag race them Porsches!
PORSCHE AG/PCNA Concours d'Elegance
The
PORSCHE AG/PCNA Concours d'Elegance will be held on Monday, August 7 at the Heron Lakes
Golf Course, utilizing the driving range and the adjoining
fairways. Heron Lakes boasts a beautiful course, with
spectacular views of Mount Hood and other scenery. The Concours will follow the
traditional format, but with a twist. To make it more
of a spectator event, we will utilize a elevated display for some of the
cars while judging and awarding trophies. If
you aren’t up to the rigors of concours preparation and
judging, consider entering your Porsche in the relaxed, Porsche Paddock, where everyone can display
their Porsche and participate in the People's Choice voting.
