Events

If you are entering any of the driving events (autocross, rally, tours) YOUR Porsche (or rental car) MUST PASS SAFETY INSPECTION. The following page details all of the areas that will be checked during the inspection. Refer to this sample form in advance to do a self-inspection of all pertinent areas of your vehicle before you get to the Parade. A little advance preparation will likely make the Parade week a little less stressful. Please fill out the top portion of the two part form, which you will get with your registration materials, prior to your arrival at the safety inspection site. The safety inspectors will complete the lower portion during the safety check. Your Porsche must be unpacked from your trip to Portland prior to your safety inspection. All entrants for the autocross must have their helmets and appropriate clothing checked at the safety inspection. The Stoddard Imported Cars sticker will be affixed to your car windshield and your helmet if appropriate, and must remain there during your event. Helmets will be spot checked at the autocross site for the fore mentioned sticker prior to your driving session. Check the Parade Competition Rules for information on all requirements.

Your completed safety inspection sheet must be kept in your vehicle and available at all times unless someone decides otherwise.

The Stoddard Safety Inspection will take place on a lot adjacent to the registration area. Look for our EZ to follow signs, which will lead you to our inspection area. There will be, as in the past, a roving safety inspector for concours participants. I have listed the Stoddard Safety Inspection schedule below. If you are unable and have an original reason for being unable to complete the inspection during these hours, you must contact me by July 1st and make an appointment for your safety inspection.
